LMAO this is some funny stuff but seriously if an engine wasn't approved to be in a US production car then it is technically "illegal for use in a US car" but as long as you can pass emissions in states that require emissions then your alright!(how many DOT official know what came in your car to start out with anyway?)BTW the DOT can at ANYTIME and come test your vehicle(emissions minded people beware!) but its not like they can seize your car and send you to jail for the rest of your life geeeeeze its just and engine!
