Angry 88 Sentra won't run right

Here's the deal--
I bought an '88 Sentra--throttle-body inj., 4 spd, etc. from a buddy. The car will run fine for the first 2 or 3 miles after a cold start. Then it loses power and starts bucking (similar to a rev limiter) until you bring it under 45mph. This "bucking" occurs in every gear once 3500rpm is reached. I know that the timing is correct and I replaced the following: egr valve, computer, throttle body assembly, distributor, and tried the coil from my p-finder...all with no improvement. I also un bolted the exhaust at the manifold in case the cat was blocked. Once it starts its "fits", upon putting the gas to the floor, it sounds like a snowblower with the choke on. Haynes and Chilton have been no help. Any suggestions or solutions would be great. I need this beater to run right so my Spec V won't rack up the miles...Thanks.
