I had replaced my vent control valve 2 years ago. last week I got the code again along with a knock sensor code. I have 2 Nissans and whenever I get a evap code I also get the knock sensor code also. The vent control valve was working but one of the hoses was stuffed up with a moth nest. After clearing out the nest and blowing out the remaining hoses with a can of air I reset the light and it has stayed off.
