You're in for the wiring job of a lifetime!I would change out all of the mechanical systems to the KA24E(the engine you're putting in) stuff including the wiring. If the NAPS-Z engine (which is a varant of the old B series engines from the 60's)is multi port fuel injection it probably has a pump that can supply the KA24,but if it's throttle body it will lack sufficient pressure to do so. The good thing is that you have a complete donor vehicle to do this from.I'd even consider swapping dashboards if you can because then you will probably save yourself a lot of headaches re wiring the cab for the new engine management scheme. You may need to change to the KA's speedo since Nissan started using electronic speedometers in some of their vehicles around then and the 88 might have a mechanical one.I have never done this to one of these trucks so I am not speaking from experience here, but I know of friends doing this sort of thing to switch EFI Mustangs from 4 cyl to 8.I'd take some notes and pictures( a Polaroid instant camera is best) of how everything goes together while stripping the donor vehicle so you have a visual refrence to glean from.
