I don't think Junk yards are ripping anyone off at all. This is a free Country and if the consumer want's to take a risk and purchase a used part from a yard instead off going to the Stealer that is his perogitive. I have been going to this type of yard since I was 15 years old. I'm just sorry that most of the older scrap yards are long closed due to EPA regulations. Heck I remeber the first time I went to a yard it was way back in the woods. The treasures were unreal!! Nothing Like Big Block cars everywear from the 60's. Now you are lucky to find anything like that at all. I asked the guy yesterday and he looked me like I had two heads Lol. He said we have not seen stuff like that in many years.........Sad....
