the problem with that shoust, is that when you spend that cash on cleaning them you won't know if they'll
stay unclogged. the problem he's having was originally the injectors. that's not the cause. the cause was dirty gas, and
now a dirty system.
until you clean the tank and lines, i wouldn't waste money on injectors...
unless... you go pick up 4-6 injectors at a junkyard (same engine or interchangable)... (they're small enough to fit in your boots too...;]..) then grab a few fuel filters.
switch em out, and the filter, then run the car as long as the injectors last... they clog again, change em again... you'll get most of the loose crap out. possibly not having to clean the tank....
BUT! this is only a temporary fix, the benefit to this is a: you can schedule better when you're going to drop the tank (that draining into another gastank is a great way of doin it) and b: you'll have a ton of extra injectors, say you ever get a bad batch of gas in the upcoming New American Energy Revolution....
a very good thing to have around.
new ones cost around 180 i think??
junkyard ones that work, probably 20-free.
like that guy said.. cleanin em later for 100 a pop.... (extras sittin around)
