hmm, no not really unfortunately. the 1.8 tranny can't handle too much. most people that turbo their 1.8 get right around there. this guy did a pretty in depth build

and then someone hit his car, lol. but if you have questions he will probably be able to help you. i don't think i've ever seen a dyno from him though.
in my opinion it's a lot of work for not much gain. you'd probably be better off waiting until you get a car with a better platform but with all the money i've spent on my car i guess i should take my own advice! but i guess mine can handle a little more the 1.8
