well, it was usable, as i put a few hundred miles on it like the way it was (Shift forks wornout). Once i pushed it too far when in 5th and was locked in high geaer, i was able to drive it home and get it over the pit in the garage, and by grabbing ahold of the shift rod and was able to get it out of 5th.

But the other day i let a friend drive it ,and he got it locked in 5th, and when he trtied to forcefully pull it out of 5th, the shifter moved the reverse fork into gear, but never pulled 5th fork out of gear, so now it's lockd in both.

I think something is worn out in the shift forks or a detain spring and ball, but, finding ANYTHING on a manual transaxle is getting to be a pain in the ass. i can't find any type of exploded views of any nissan transaxle, let alone a manual transaxle of anytype.

I did manage to locate 1 manual trans in the whole state of michigan. he wants $240 it. Might end up buying it

I love the gas milage with the car, as i drive a chevy350 and a dodagedakota that carries 1800# of tools and uliity topper, so, i'm in the works of finding something small and cheap on gas, and i can't go with the idea of buying a $10,000 car to save gas. in my opinion defeats the purpose of saving money. Ontop of that i can't make money with a car, so i don't see the idea of spending alot of money to buy a new one.

But, if you know some links to download some PDF's or anything with exploded views of a nissan manual transaxle, please post a link where i can aquire it.
