Nissanpickup

Ok well my father replaced the hydralic brake booster on my truck and didnt read the instructions. When he put it on he said it was adjusted to far out and was seperating the master cylinder from the brake booster then when he took it apart again he had adjusted it in and now my brake light is lite constantly. So basicly long story short i was woundering if anybody knew how many turns or how far out it should be to have my booster adjusted properly thank you for the help
