Hey 5aprilc. Did U buy the T3 turbo.Hopefully you didnt cause it would
suck on the GA16DE.Your gonna get insane amounts of lag (they have
a lot of lag on even the CA18DET) and it wount be fun to drive at all.
I would say,go for a T25 (if you want a mild every day car) or a
T28 for some more go.You can go mad and do a GT28 ballbearing
but its pricey.
Your gonna have to upgrade the fuel system,some 370cc injectors would
do.If you cant get a turbo exhaust manifold you must have one made.
I would say go for a intercooler,it would be a waste to spend all the money
on a turbo upgrade and not do a intercooler.Your boost would be extremely
limited if you dont.The down pipe should be like 3" and the rest of the exhaust
can be 2.5". If your gonna run MAF give JWT a call for the ECU and get a BOV
that redirects the air to before the intake manifold.
I can go on and on,but I would say that it will not be easy and it will be expensive,
but it'll put a smile on your face everytime.
If you do do it,do it proper the first time or you'll have endless problems.
