worn out tires of a Nissan

hi!

I have a problem with the tires of a Nissan Frontier 300Tdi (produced in Thailand!).

First of all an experienced driver notices a bit of unbalance but it is not affecting the steering a lot. Furthermore one hears in the lower RPMs a noice which is a bit rough like there is something with the traction (dry) but for sure not notable by "nor,al" drivers.

The front wheel tires are worn out in a way that you see hand-palm wide marks diagonal from the inside of the weel under an angle of about 30 degrees uo to the outside of the wheel.

The local garage says that these Nissan's has a weak front-suspension and these has to be replaced by tougher ones. The mileage of the car is around 50.000 kms.. I blame it to whole steering and lining system.

But I am not a real technicien and I don't trust this judgement.

Can somebody give me an advice because in this country (Thailand) someone with specific problems is a bit lost, even in the big city.

Thanks in advance
