I've made up my mind, and I'll be picking up the car in a couple of weeks. Hell, I could get good money just for the engine right now, so for free I simply cannot lose! I was definitely wrong about the dash...it doesn't absolutely have to be the 280 dash, but the AC will line up a lot easier with it. At any rate, my friend is telling that the dash is in mint condition, so thats what I'm going with.
I also found out that the rear 1/4 windows have been sheeted over as the guy who had the body before my friend was making a road car, so there will be some body work required there. Haven't decided whether or not I want to re-establish the window or do the finish work on the covers....I guess I'll decide when I actually see the car.
At any rate, I'll let you all know when I pick it up....I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, and I'll show pics as well....
