The one i did the bracket is one piece, it splits into 2 at the intake, but it is one piece down by the Drive shaft.
I had to loosen this and disconnect at the bottom to get the starter out. This was the 2.0 SER so yours might be easier.
Watch out for the solenoid wire, slide it off the bracket towards the passenger wheel.
