The master cylinder was bled, on the bench prior to installation. It was the adjustment in the pedal itself that was screwing everything up. We assumed that the distance the pedal was bolted on the shaft going to the master cylinder wouldn't change, but since it was an aftermarket unit there would obviously be a difference. Spent 5 mins under the dash adjusting the pedal connection to the master cylinder and the problem was gone. What kept confusing me was that even tho we bled the whole system of all the air that the pedal still didn't come back up. Thanks for your help tho. Really appreciated it.
