AH okay, was just making sure, trying to elimiate possiblities, thats one down
the coolant temp sensor for the gauge is located on top of the motor, its a tiney little thing, with a little blue wire coming out of it, metal connector not plastic like the rest, probably where you should start, really easy to change out.
