I have replaced the clutch master, and the clutch slave, (both purchased from autozone) and I'm thinking, both aren't doing their job, because the
truck still has problems shifting smoothly...

Had a friend come over (who is a mechanic) he agreed with me that it
was just time to replace the clutch... SO, we tear into the thing..(which
is a big pain for you guys out there that have not done it yet)...

We get the clutch out and It's really in pretty good shape ( says Nissan
on it so im assuming it's the original) the plate was good minor wear...

so we proceeded to put a new clutch in it... 8 hours later, we have everything back together and wouldn't ya know it... SAME PROBLEM...
the damn thing wont go into gear...

I take the slave master back to autozone, and the guy tells me they gave
me the wrong part.... Put the new part on, it works alittle better, but
I'm still having problems with it going into gear smoothly...
( my mechanic friend said the shaft on the master slave dosen't seem to
be pushing out all the way... )

HERE'S my question, Is there any way to adjust the clutch master cyl.?
when I removed the original and replaced it with autozone copy,
I matched the rod length with the original...
Is there a chance the master isn't getting a complete stroke or shot
to the master slave, therefore, the slave rod isn't coming out all the way?

And yes, we've bled the hell out of the clutch.. Almost ran a quart of
dot 3 thru the system...

PLEASE ASSIST ASAP... Truck is in danger of being Shot with my 12 gauge...

I love the truck, but It will die if it no longer wants to Cooperate...

Thanks..
yes the push rod on the pedal has an adjustabl length. Many people miss this and blame the parts store for the problem.
