Sat night car was parked outside so i started it and moved it into the garage (run time less then a minute--car had been sitting for atleast 24-36hrs). Turned it off went to bed. (temp was well below 30F--even in the garage). Next morning would not turn over, that night would not turn over, next morning would not turn over. Signed onto this site, read a couple things, then proceeded to:Take out spark plugs (left them out for a few hours), got new ones, put them in(along with some oil in each cylinder), and then turned it over (using my other car for a power source--jumper cables) for a solid minute or more with accelerator to the floor. Finally started after what seemed like eternity.
I hate this engine!...but atleast if you know what NOT to do, seems to work every time.

Still a f!#king issue:
OK, so you're saying that you just cranked the car over and over and over for a minute??? good God! Won't that burn out a starter?! I just pushed it into the garage today after leaving it outside sans plugs for about a week (had other sh!t to do...). Put the plugs back in (they're new), it literally fired right up. For 2 seconds. Then died. And I'm right back to square one.
Here are some issues in case they'd cause adverse effects on starting(and by the by, I inherited this car from my ricer younger brother so the "mods" suck):
1)conical aftermarket filter
2)aftermarket fart-can
3)free exhaust bypass via 2nd post-cat o2 falling off the car (culprit?)
