What's odd is that the strange voltage issue is gone with the new starter...and when I say I tested it, I mean I tested the plug that goes into the starter solenoid from the harness. It consistently tries to start with the jump box every time now. I'm going to let it sit with the spark plugs out for a while to "air" it out and go from there.
The rotor/cas probably has NEVER been replaced (I bought this car off my parents who were letting my no-sense younger brother who knows crap about car maintenance use it) I pulled it and there was corrosion on the terminals and rotor. I cleaned those up fairly good using sand paper and battery terminal cleaner (works MIRACLES) and was getting pretty good spark.
btw, has anyone actually proven that the "foot-to-floor" for flooding method actually turns off injectors? Or is it just speculation and works because it's letting more air bypass for ignition...?
