Well if your battery is drained and you have to jump it everytime then thats your problem. Putting your foot to the floor on a fuel injected vehicle does absolutely nothing if your trying to clear a flood. It does nothing no matter what your trying to do.

Other then that theres 50 million other reasons it wouldnt start. Id start looking around the starter since everything worked fine before you put it in. Are you still using your homemade switch thing, or have you wired it stock again? If you had "inconsistent voltage" to the starter solenoid beforehand, then you already had a problem there that needs to be fixed.

Other then that...what have you done to verify that your getting fuel? You could try taking a look at your ignition to make sure your getting a spark. Easiest way (in my opinion) to do that is to get a cheap little spark tester and hook it up to the end of every plug wire one at a time. And make sure you ground it! You'll be able to see the spark quite easily if everythings working.
