I've been running around like a chicken with its head chopped off. Ok here's the deal:
My fiancee needs to have the tie-rods removed from her pontiac. I've been to three different shops and they've all given me something different. So today I went to Advanced Auto and asked them what would be needed to remove the tie-rods and they gave me this:
Is this the right toolset or do I have to make yet another trip?
Secondly, does anyone have any 'how-tos' on removing and installing them. Since we have a 7 week old now, I refuse to drive that car until its safe and we currently don't have the funds to take it to a shop.
