A strange engine swap

A quick background,

I acquired a small worktruck, a 1972 Ford courier.

The engine is seized; while perusing the junkyard ,I found a 1985 nissan 200sx that had a front end collision, yet the motor turned over easily and only had 90,000 miles on it. It is a turbo 1.8 with a 5 speed.

I pulled the motor & (manual) trans, with the entire intake and harness on the passenger side all the way to the computer.

I would like to put this motor in my truck.

Feel free to flame me, but if you could also answer my questions, I would appreciate it.

1) Is this engine computer set-up stand alone, or will I need to do modifications to make it work?

2) I noticed there was another harness running to the passenger side of the vehicle, will I need this?

3) are there any sensors/electronics I might have to jump (example vehicle speed sensor, emissions, etc?

4) are there any easy tricks for mild performance gains with this motor; or things to look out for?

It is a small engine, but so is the truck and it has 4.11 gears.
I figured with the 5 speed and the turbo, it should be fun to drive and economical too (for a truck , anyway)

Thank you in advance,
and if I can help in anyway, I am a professional welder, primarily in GTAW (TIG, Heliarc) of exotic metals Stainless,Titanium,Aluminum, Haynes, etc
Also Laser and Electron beam welding and a decent machinist (as a hobby)
