I hope you got ALL the pinholes! If gas comes into contact with that fiberglass your in for alot more headache... If you want a guaranteed LEak-Free tank, which I assume you do by the steps youve already taken.. Then you need to invest in some POR-15 tank liner.. Cost's about $100 to do a full-size tank but so far Ive done 3 that had some pretty decent leaks and their still going strong.. I think theres some lifetime guarantee if properly done..

And NOPE....NO danger in having fuel go through the winding.. Fuel needs air to combust (ignite).. Remember that its the fumes that'll get you in trouble and that ignite in the cylinder.. Even if the tank is low on fuel its either in a vapor or pressure situation where it'd be nearly impossible to ignite.
