so you both are refering to the rubber part just not sitting on the rim thats on the VC properly? I know mine aren't always cupped on there the whole way but I know they are connected to the plug. If it's not pushing up to the point where you can pull the wire off without any resistance I'm not sure that there is much of a problem or much you can do.
