Hi all,
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but the manual driver seat in my 01 Pathfinder is having mechanical problems -- I can't set it fully vertical, only reclined. Plus, it's rickety and squeaky. I think something is either bent or broke in the inboard hinge, but I need to remove the seat to examine it more closely.
The problem is, I can't seem to find a way to remove it without removing the brackets from the floor. I can do this, but it looks a bit tricky and I was wondering if there's a way to somehow slide the seat off the rails rather than try to dismantle it from the floor.
Incidentally, on an unrelated note, the "Brake" light in the dash is lit up all the time, even when all the brakes are off (incl. emergency brake). Any ideas about why that's happening and how to fix it?
Thanks!
