Hi I've got a Nissan Micra March Cabriolet, when I go over a bump in the road my ABS light flashes on and off. Has anyone got any ideas what is causing it and how I can fix it? I am a new member to the Forum.h
Each wheel has an ABS sensor which has a harness connector. Make sure the harness connectors are connected firmly and that the sensor is bolted firmly in the suspension arm. There is a test procedure that a Nissan dealer can perform to test each sensor.
You can inspect each sensor yourself as follows:
• Pull out the wheel sensor, being careful to turn it as little as possible. Do not pull on the wheel sensor harness.
• Check if foreign objects such as iron fragments are adhered to the pick-up part of the sensor or to the inside of the hole in the wheel hub for the wheel sensor, or if a foreign object is caught in the surface of the mating surface for the sensor rotor.
