I purchased a 2016 Frontier SV. The truck does not come with a back up camera. I purchase a camera and an after market harness (AX-NIS-ADDCAM1 Aftermarket Back-up Camera to OEM Radio Harness) but I'm not getting a video signal to the OEM radio (#281859BK1A). I connected the power and ground to the back up light, but wondering if the RF video out is actually in the right location on the wiring harness. I would appreciate any troubleshooting or suggestions.

Thanks for the 2014 Headunit install link. I still can't seem to get the Cam to work with my headunit. I stopped by a Nissan dealer and was told that my headunit (28185 9BK1A/CQ-FN94E&GX) will not support any after market camera. The mechanic told me it has to be a headunit with GPS/NAV.....hmmm

You should not have tried this in the first place. Adding such hardware (especially in an aftermarket form) is 99.999999% unfeasible with all vehicles produced after roughly 2010 with the modern fashion in which the vehicles are wired, built, and transfer data and power from point to point. No more aftermarket cameras, screens, head units, stereos, amps, etc without doing serious damage at the worst; or disabling various functions or components of the car at the least.

Source: I am an actual dealer mechanic. And also experienced in this matter from the parts and engineering ends of the industry as well. If you want a backup camera, you need to buy a vehicle which bore one from the factory. Same is you want Nav, high-end stereo, etc.

i was wondering if you can add another camera to the factory radio where you can have on in front too

Only if it was available on a better version of the same model, and only if both models use the same radio but are configured differently. Lots of Nissan models have radios which can be variously reconfigured, but you can't add hardware it isn't equipped for, and you can't completely reprogram it.
