First off, Hello, glad I found this place. The amount of info here is amazing!
I am planning on slowly building up my spare engine for my daily driver. I have been looking at all this tech data y'all got on here and I think I have my parts list down..... but want to run it by some of you seasoned e-series builders.
The 2 heads I have are the 52A and the 11M, both high swirl so I think I need to find either a 33M or 15M, but here in Washington state I think the 15M will be hard to get so I was thinking Ill prolly have to go ahead with a 33M head and A14 pistons but am unsure what con-rods I will need. I don't want too high CR as this is my daily driver and pump gas is expensive enough for every day Need to find a good cam as well.
Have already redone the exhaust in 2.5 inch and will be making a 4-2-1 extractor soon. Thinking of making a new intake but.... that could be tricky. Already have a weber 32/36 on it. Will also look for a Datsun 210 pres plate as well. the stock clutch already has probs keeping hold
Any ideas? Advice or anything I forget to add that I will need? Any foreseeable conflicts?
