Weird brake light problem

Here's the deal. A while ago, my left brake light went out. When I replaced the bulb, it didn't help. Later, I installed Altezza tail lights. That seemed to fix the problem, but recently, the same thing started happening again. The worst part is, on the new setup, the brake light is the same bulb that flashes when you turn on the turn signal. So, I checked all the connections and the bulb and they're fine. I can't figure out what's wrong with it. Any advice?

it shouldn't matter that you got altezza tail lights or not. I'm guessing you check your fuse or maybe the wiring is going bad. I had the same problem. Where the turn signals would flash to fast. At least fast enough that it wouldn't pass the test.
turns out that I needed a different pair of bulbs. I'll email you a pic of what I had.

Check the left tail light harness to see if voltage is present when the brake is applied (place something to hold the brake pedal down)... If there's no voltage I'd disconnect the "+12 V" brake wire from the harness and isolate it completely and then run a wire from the other tail light's brake wire. Use a voltmeter to find out whats going on.
